Leadership Selection

The following positions are needed for the hackathon process:

• SCRUM Master: The SCRUM Master can also participate in the development process, although it is not required.

• Project Owner: The Project Owner can also participate in the development process, although it is not required.

• Development Team: All other members participating in the event.

Important

The recommendation is to select a SCRUM Master and Project Owner who have actual knowledge of Agile Development and the SCRUM Framework or have gone through those lessons at Code Institute. That includes knowledge of Git and Github.

• The amount of Hackathon Experience is irrelevant for these tasks.
• No experience is required if you possess the knowledge needed at hand.
• The two people in these positions must have enough free time for proper engagement.

We need two persons to be in charge of the SCRUM Framework. A quick consensus can be reached if there are more than two people willing to be in these positions:

• The possibility to alternate for backup is possible.
• Use poll systems to reach consensus on the selection of the SCRUM Master & Project Owner.
